“ We chose Saturday night, hoping it would be quieter for this location. It was quieter, but there was a large group who was a bit noisy. Other than that, the whole experience was great. We had a starter, a main and a dessert each. All the dishes we ordered were very tasty and delicious . Happy with the services and love to go back again. ”
“ The staff was incredibly nice—they moved us to a quieter and better table without hesitation and were very attentive throughout. We never felt forgotten. The food was excellent, full of flavor, and we enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend! ”
“ So far the best French restaurant I’ve come across in London. The bavette was exquisite. Yummy crepes for dessert and on top of it the staff was very friendly! I highly recommend this place and I will be visiting again! Also lovely to hear some French music in the background, bonus point! ”
“ Popped in spontaneously. Had a drink only but took a bite of crepe. Can’t judge dessert as everything is too sweet for me but the drink was good, the service was polite and the place is good. Wouldn’t come back as I’d rather try gazette in other locations as well. Worth visiting. (Loved the table...) ”
“ Nice dinner at gazette chancery! Staff was busy but still available and nice to take care of us. We booked via the fork, great experience good food! ”
“ Very delicous food and super friendly staff with great service. Highly recommend the Veal and Fillet of Venison, super tasty!! Wine was very good too and suffle was the best ending to our night. The only thing that we did not like much was the atmosphere as it was very quiet for a Sat night! but other than that highly recommend it ”
“ This was our first visit and it was wonderful. As a family we were looking for a special place to celebrate my husband's birthday and as it turned out also my daughter's uni result. Maddy looked after us beautifully and a big shout out for her, as my daughter is coeliac and when she asked Maddy to take a photo using her phone Maddy washed her hands first as she'd just been handling bread. My daughter was so touched by her thoughtfulness. Also she was taken through the menu and advised what she could and couldn't eat - there were plenty of options to choose from. Then when we enjoyed bread and butter at the start, they brought a separate butter and specially cooked gluten free bread for my daughter. It just made the whole evening so enjoyable and relaxing for everyone. Then a quiet word with Maddy and a candle was placed on the choc pot and madeleines that we ordered for dessert for my husband so we could sing him happy birthday. The food was extremely high quality. I believe the snails were exceptional. But not one of us was left disappointed by anything we chose. The menu is very French and my husband is already plotting his return with a friend of his. Thank you to the team for making it a really special evening and delicious too! ”
“ Absolutely amazing authentic French food with warm welcoming hospitality. First time here but it will be many times to come. Thanks to Mady and Tim’s and enthusiasm towards the food they served. Great experience! ”
